New Developers

It is necessary to place some controls on the availability of developer accounts, not least to reduce the risk of their being used for malicious purposes. For this reason it is not possible to obtain an account automatically; however the enrolement procedure is straightforward and it is not intended to exclude legitimate applicants.

To apply you need to:

1. choose a username;
2. confirm that you have read and will act within the acceptable use policy;
3. explain briefly what you intend to do with the account; and
4. if you think it might be needed, provide some evidence of your connection to RISC OS.

This information should be sent to Graham Shaw. Applications will normally be accepted unless there is good reason not to, however the identity of the applicant must be verifiable (and in particular, it must be possible to link that identity to the e-mail address from which the application was made).
