Programming with the RISC OS Toolkit
The RISC OS Toolkit (RTK) is a class library for developing RISC OS application programs in C++. It was first released in September 2003, since when its capabilities have been gradually enhanced.
From the beginning the RISC OS Toolkit has been supplied with a comprehensive on-line reference manual. This contains all of the information needed to use the toolkit but is not the ideal way to learn about it. "Programming with the RISC OS Toolkit" is intended to fill this gap.
A working knowledge of C++ is assumed. (There are already many good books about this language, so there would be limited benefit in covering the same ground.)
The Toolkit is free (LGPL) software. It may be downloaded from http://www.sagitta.demon.co.uk/riscos/ or through the RISC OS Packaging Project.
